Although it still feels like the middle of summer, I wanted to try to squeeze in as many fall activities as I could. My parents were always really busy working when I was younger so there was a lot I missed out on growing up. I carved a pumpkin for the first time only three years ago. At the top of my list this year was visiting a cornfield maze, so Sunday, Jake and I journeyed to the countryside (aka Brooksville) to visit Sweetfields Farm on the last day of the season.

On the farm, there was a cute little barn where you can buy produce, sunflowers and the freshest apple cider I’ve ever tasted. The corn maze was huge, but we navigated our way through it pretty quickly, only hitting dead-ends a couple of times. Once we were out, we tried out their potato gun, which is a lot harder to aim than you’d think, saw some pig races and hopped on the last hayride. It was so nice to get away from the city for a few hours.
