Trading in my winter coat for this fun denim jacket! Warm weather is in the forecast for this weekend, meaning everyone will be out to play in New York City. An oversized, distressed coat like this is the perfect transitional piece into spring. You can throw it over anything for a casual, laid back look. Wear this to brunch or a stroll in Central Park, and even into the night for that dinner date you’ve been looking forward to all week.
I’ve had my jacket for nearly two years now and it’s a definite staple in my wardrobe. It’s so versatile too – you can even customize yourself with pins and patches for your own unique look. I love to pair it with black denim, such as in this look, or top off a flowy spring dress and some sneakers for the perfect daytime fit.

Four days into spring and I’m still wearing thick sweaters and heavy jackets. I’m so over this weather and ready to break out the sundresses and sandals and have picnics in the park. I’m hoping April brings along some heat, but I guess I’ll embrace the sweater weather while I still can.
Now is the perfect time to stock up on all your cold weather essentials. Big, chunky sweaters like this are starting to go on sale, and if you’re anything like me, you can’t bring yourself to overpay for a plain ‘ol pullover. This blue knit is a gem and I surprisingly stumbled upon it on a random Tuesday at H&M for only $17! I also picked up another similar to this, but flecked with orange for just $20 (see it on my Instagram here). Both were originally $49.99, which isn’t an outrageous price for a sweater, but there are a million other things I’d rather buy with $50.
You can never have too many sweaters and they’re essential pieces for a capsule wardrobe. I’m definitely holding on to both for next fall to add a bright pop of color to my wardrobe!

It feels great to be back in the city! This past weekend was my first weekend back after hanging out in Florida with family and friends for spring break. I used to complain about the humidity a lot, but I’m definitely missing the warm weather (and my tan) now. It’s still a little chilly here in NYC, so I threw on this cozy, oversized denim jacket over my matching set and explored the streets of Chinatown!

A couple weeks ago, I finally had the chance to collab with my friend and fellow fashion blogger Ryan Rose! It was a great experience to shoot with someone new who has a different perspective and I got to return to my old stomping grounds in downtown Tampa. Check out her blog here and follow her on Instagram! Her posts feature bright colors, bold prints and a lot of awesome summer inspiration! Here is one of my favorite looks.
This outfit is something I could see myself wearing to work on casual Fridays or for a busy day of meetings and running errands. I’ve been into neutral colors a lot lately and the taupe pumps add just the right amount of texture and contrast. I topped the outfit off with my go-to accessories – thin gold cuffs, Ray Bans and my trusty Rebecca Minkoff crossbody bag.
The M.A.C. (stands for morning after clutch) is the ideal bag for both day and night. This style is what first drew me to Rebecca Minkoff a couple years ago. If you’re looking for a durable, quality bag, but don’t want to splurge too much, you should definitely check her line out. They’re more affordable options compared to other designers and can be found at Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus. The Mini Perry Satchel is one I’ve been eyeing recently and hope to add to my collection soon.

Back to the work week… Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend! I decided to try something different and go for a casual look this Monday with jeans and an oversized v-neck. I’ve been drawn to neutral palettes lately and I love the way the dark denim looks with the mocha tee. The denim shirt around my waist adds just the right pop of color.
This is my first pair of Rag and Bone jeans and I can definitely say I’m not disappointed in the least bit. Yes, they are quite the investment, but trust me, nothing beats a pair of high-quality jeans. I was skeptical about ordering them at first because this pair was only available online and I wasn’t sure how they’d fit. I’m really glad I took the chance on them because they fit me like a glove!
I’m very partial to dark jeans and this charcoal color is right up my alley. I’m not a huge fan of plain black jeans, but this color is dark enough to get that similar look, but still light enough to where you can see all the little details. I love these so much that this pair in sage just might be my next purchase from them this summer.

After months of searching, I finally found the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans! I’ve tried so many pairs from different brands and hated the way they looked on me. I almost gave up on my search, but I gave in and decided to try on this pair a few weeks ago. They’re made by Brandy Melville, a brand I’ve admired for quite some time now and I found them at PacSun of all places.
I love these jeans because I didn’t have to size down or up to get the look I wanted. They’re so comfy and give your legs just the right amount of room to breathe. Distressed denim is one of my obsessions and these are ripped in all the right places. I paired them with a white tee and black sandals for a more casual look.
The necklace is my favorite part of this outfit. I was recently rummaging through my mom’s jewelry box on a recent trip back home and found this gem! I remember her wearing it in photos from the 90’s when I was a baby. It’s very lightweight and I love the bronze color. It’s the perfect necklace to help dress up a simple tee.

Festival season is here! So excited to start outfit planning. This year I’ll be attending Sunset Music Fest and EDC Vegas. I wasn’t planning on going to SMF, but the lineup is killer. I’m excited to see Oliver Heldens, Cashmere Cat, Don Diablo, Keys N Krates, Tchami and Route 94. Can’t wait till the EDC lineup is released. I know it will be insane.
The hat is my favorite part of this flatlay. It’s a bit pricey ($240 to be exact – I loved it so much I was considering splurging), but I was able to snag it from my favorite blogger, Ivana Revic’s most recent sale for a quarter of the price. It’s a classic straw Panama hat with a wide brim, perfect for the beach. I paired it with a black swim top and denim shorts, because everyone knows you can’t go wrong with denim. I picked up the birks from Nordstrom Rack a few months ago and have been wearing them nonstop. They’re one of the comfiest sandals I’ve ever owned and I’m definitely thinking about buying another pair.
